Consultant Team Members
Timothy G. Dargan (Tim) serves as President of Dargan, King and Knight. He has a forestry degree from the University Of The South (Sewanee). Tim is a licensed South Carolina real estate broker and handles land transactions and divisions. He also takes the lead with regard to tax issues, conservation easements, and forest certification in addition to serving as the expert witness on behalf of the firm in most cases. He is a South Carolina Registered Forester and Prescribed Fire Manager, a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, and sits on the board of the Pee Dee Land Trust as the Vice-Chairman.

Charles F. King (Charlie) serves as Vice President of Dargan, King and Knight. He graduated from Bethune High School in 1981 and then in 1983 from Horry Georgetown Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Forestry. He is a certified Prescribed Fire Manager and has his South Carolina and North Carolina Commercial Chemical Application license. Charlie's focus area is reforestation, drainage and road construction. He has worked for the company since 1983 becoming Vice President in 1996.

Tracy A. Knight serves as Secretary/Treasurer of Dargan, King and Knight. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Forest Management. He takes the lead on timber inventory and appraisals as well as timber sale administration. He is a Licensed Registered Forester in both North and South Carolina. He is also a North Carolina and South Carolina Licensed Commercial Chemical Applicator in addition to being a South Carolina Prescribed Fire Manager. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters and has worked for the company since 1988, joining the partnership in 1996.
